Our Team
Northern Dental Access Center is home to a team of professionals dedicated to providing quality care in a welcoming environment.
Front Desk Patient Schedulers
These employees respond to community and patient questions, schedule dental visits and assist with care coordination and treatment referrals. Several hold Community Health Worker (CHW) certificates and work to connect people with area community resources to help patients overcome barriers to care.
Dental Assistants
Dental Assistants are the primary patient advocate, working alongside dentists to assure patient concerns are addressed and dental procedures are completed. Dental Assistants are also charged with providing cleanings and other preventive procedures for children.
Dental Hygienists
These professionals work with dentists to complete new patient exams, triage urgent needs and record and schedule treatment plans. They provide cleanings, sealants, fluoride and other preventive procedures for all adult patients.
Advanced Dental Therapist
This new mid-level provider works with young children and adolescents, managing their dental treatment needs. This gives those kiddos the time and attention they need, while also leaving the more complex adult care in the hands of the dentists, where they are needed most.
Dentists
Northern Dental Access Center utilizes a blend of dental providers that include full time employees and part time, independent contractors. This allows for a diverse mix of dentists, of all ages, from all over the state, to be on-site and help our patients with the care they need.
Site Managers
Each satellite clinic has a Site Manager who is responsible for the day to day operations of the clinics. Their work helps maintain continuity of care, provides support for employees and patients, and connects the organization with community stakeholders in their area.
Administrative Support
A number of employees work behind the scenes to help with finance, clinical operations, claims administration, data collection and more. Their tireless efforts assure all the complex details of this work are attended to, and that the organization is successful.
Jeanne Edevold Larson, Executive Director
Jeanne is the current and founding Executive Director of the organization, beginning in the early planning days and leading through multiple expansions and growth. Jeanne holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Development and has more than 40 years of experience in nonprofit management and has received multiple state and national awards recognizing her work and impact.
Erica Lundberg, Director of Finance and Operations
Erica has been with the organization for 15 years, serving in multiple roles. Her leadership in the operations of the dental clinics provides the continuity and quality of services, along with a top-notch team dedicated to our patients and values-based care. Erica holds an MBA, working in concert with the Board of Directors, she provides the fiscal stewardship of the organization.
Jennifer Welch, Associate Director of Operations
Jenn has been with Northern Dental Access Center over 12 years, starting as a Licensed Dental Assistant, adding a CHW certificate and most recently her Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Management. Her responsibilities have grown throughout her career and she has been instrumental in developing innovative scheduling techniques and in the growth of satellite clinics—both as means to increasing access for patients in need.
